Delivery Times

Monday-Friday: Next day delivery (same day dispatch) available on orders before 5:00pm (unless stated otherwise on checkout or product page). Automatically applies to most standard orders.
Pallets (heavy weight and multiple or bulk quantities), Bank holidays, seasonal holidays, and other exclusions apply. UK Mainland only. Some postcodes in remote or difficult to access areas may add additional transit/delivery times.

  • Standard delivery: Usually 2–5 working days.
  • Pallet delivery: Usually 5-7 working days.

RETURNS

You have 60 days from receiving your order to let us know you’d like to return it.
Once you’ve let us know that you’d like to return your order (within the 60-day notice period), you’ll have another 15 days to send it back to us.

    The SLA 12-20A (LS SLA 12-20A) Lawn & Garden battery 12 volt 20.0 Ah is filled, charged and sealed at the factory, therefore maintenance-free and you never have to refill it. This AGM battery is activated from the production process, making it operational immediately after purchase. Aside from periodic charging, no further maintenance is necessary. This leak-proof battery can be mounted at a 90° angle. This battery is extremely resistant to vibration due to the compressed AGM plate package making it ideal for the rough terrain were the mini tractors has to operate in. This type of battery is often used in lawn mowers and of course other engines.

    Description AGM Battery

    An AGM motorcycle battery, also known as an Absorbed Glass Mat lead-acid battery, works on the same electrochemical process of lead-acid batteries as a regular lead-acid battery. The difference is in the way the electrolyte is placed in the battery. In an AGM motorcycle battery, the electrolyte is held (absorbed) by a glass fiber mat that is placed between the positive and negative plates. This prevents the risk of leakage and improves the performance of the battery.

    The plates in an AGM battery are typically made of a lead-calcium alloy, which makes them less susceptible to sulfation (a process where sulfates are deposited on the plates, reducing the battery's capacity) than traditional lead-acid batteries. This means that AGM batteries generally have a longer lifespan than traditional lead-acid batteries. Additionally, AGM batteries have a low internal resistance, which means they can be charged quickly and can deliver high current when needed.
