At McMartin's, we know that getting your order to you safely is just as important as the product itself.

Car batteries are heavy, and although they're built to last once fitted to your vehicle, they still need to be protected during their journey from our warehouse to your doorstep. That's why every battery we dispatch is packaged with care, using multiple layers of protection designed to keep it secure in transit.

Built to Handle the Journey

Before a battery leaves us, it's carefully packed inside a strong outer carton and surrounded by protective packaging to minimise movement during transport.

Each order is prepared using a combination of:

A heavy-duty cardboard box
Inflatable air cushioning
Protective cloth wrapping
Secure internal packaging

This helps absorb knocks and bumps during delivery, giving your battery the best possible protection while it's on the road.

Every Battery is Checked

Packaging is only one part of the process.

Before dispatch, we also check each battery's built-in condition indicator to make sure it's ready for its new owner. A green indicator provides a quick visual confirmation that the battery is in good condition before it leaves our warehouse.

It's a simple check, but one that gives both us and our customers extra peace of mind.
